Mariano Giustino

Born in Naples in 1965, he graduated in Economics and Business at LUISS with a specialization in Finance for Companies at the Bocconi School of Business Management. He is a member of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Naples and the Register of Legal Auditors of the MEF.

He is CEO and General Manager of CEINGE-Advanced Biotechnologies and President of the BIOGENE consortium.

He is Director of the CIRO consortium (Campania Imaging Infrastructure for Research in Oncology) and member of the Technical-Scientific Committee of the SPRING Cluster (circular bioeconomy).

He is a member of the OECD National Contact Point at the Ministry of Economic Development.

He currently carries out managerial and professional activities in the field of finance, energy and technological innovation and is active entrepreneurially in the sectors of construction, renewable energy, cosmetic products, plant engineering, and catering. He has held numerous positions within the Union of Industrialists of Naples, he has been a Board Member of SVIMEZ and Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of leading national companies.

He worked for about ten years at the Italian Mobiliare Institute, then Sanpaolo - IMI, in the Business Credit sector acquiring knowledge of numerous sectors and territories that characterize the national entrepreneurial fabric. In those years he also performed duties in boards of auditors of companies of the IMI Group.

He  held the position of Managing Director of the Technapoli Consortium (Science and Technology Park of the metropolitan area of Naples and Caserta and Research Organization).
